“I have a problem where it gives out an open wifi channel and people can use it to access the internet. Even if i set it up, and reset my tv...it does the same thing. Is there a fix?”

The Wi-Fi that is on the TV is not accessible by other devices besides Chromecast. So no one should be able to access the Internet through Wi-Fi signal on the television.
