“Tv goes super dark. Flashes three red lights then dies. Something is wrong with this and based on other reviews this seems to be a major problem. No way to do a factory reset”

I had the same problem. It seems like a backlight problem. If you flashlight in a dark room you could see the menu. You would have to get this lcd strips replaced. Its a pain. https://youtu.be/awQSQjGvVfk
