“Is there a way to change the settings so that the tv doesn't speak whenever you change the volume. Out of the box when I press volume it actually mutes it and says the word "volume" and then the volume number you set it to.”

• Yes go to menu and click the audio option look for voice you will see on select off then exit we had the same issue thought it would be great but turns out that it is very annoying good luck now if only I could locate the power button and chanel button on the TV I would be ohh so pleased

• You can go into the setting and turn OFF the voice instructions. I am not in front of the tv now, so I cant say exactly what to click on, but it is in there, just may have to search and discover.
