“When we turn on the TV, it always starts with Toshiba's "home screen" and every time we have to curser over to HDMI 1 and hit Enter to watch cable. Is there a way to make the TV come on automatically to cable TV (HDMI 1)?”

i haven't found one. I always have to go to HDMI 1 to watch satellite channels not streaming and vice versa.

From the home screen go all the way to the right to the setting gear. *** Don't use the setting gear on the remote. Find Display and Sound. Select Power Control. Select Power On. Select Last Input.
