It does act just like the FireStick. You can download apps just like the firestick. When you turn on the tv, it goes directly to the FireTV front page like what the Firestick does. The different HDMI connections are listed on this front page so it is easy to switch between HDMI connections. You can also name the 3 HDMI connections different names.
