The Smart TV label comes strictly from the built in Chromecast. There is not a dedicated internet browser or interface for apps. I have personally found, however, that streaming from my smartphone has been more than sufficient for my needs.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This tv is truly in the "smart class" of tv's Smart TV;s in the past have had a limited list of apps which could be used or installed on the TV . This uses your mobile device or tablet on your shared WIFI to cast hundreds of apps. The real smart part of this TV is when on your mobile phone, and hit the cast logo, its transfers the app (ie hulu), access, and permissions directly on to you TV allowing one to still use your mobile device .. I like casting Facebook live!!
