• I used with my Samsung Galaxy S tablet and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge without any issues. Your phone should work.

• You can connect the chromecast with any adroind (Samsun Galaxy), iphone or tablet. You just need the Chromecast app.

• The answer is yes. The product description states the following: "Chromecast works with a compatible iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet, MacBook or Windows laptop, or Chromebook." Both Chromecast and Android (the system Samsung phones run on) is made by Google. It would make no sense for them to make Chromecast work for iPhones (their competition) and not their own phone system. Worth noting, is that it also works with laptop computers. I set my TV and can Chromecast using a Windows 7 laptop.

• I have a zte android phone.. and it connects just fine. I love this tv and being able to watch Netflix and purflix at the touch of a button.
