It has Component AV hook up and 3 HDMI ports with one USB port. You can run Surround sound all day long with this TV. Especially with these new SR receivers if you need more than 3 HDMI ports you can buy a splitter. Bluray, Game, Cable would be your 3 HDMI ports ..Component is becoming obsolete and will be seeing less and less ..My new receiver is one HDMI Cable out, and plug everything else up beside it in their ports and you are in business. Now I'm wireless Subwoofer 7.2 (TWO SUBS) both wireless
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This tv has 1 set of rca's and 3 hdmi's.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has one optical audio output. We send all audio out to Logitech 5.1 surround sound powered speakers. We don't put an audio receiver in the middle. But all our music is on Apple TV. In your case, if you have a CD player that is separate, you'll probably need send optical audio out to an audio receiver which then acts as a switcher for your other audio devices. If it were me, I'd stop using the CD player, and start using the DVD player as your CD player. That would make all of your video devices go through the TV panel and then you'd have just a single optical audio cable that sends everything to your audio gear.
