• Yes, you may have the TV turned off but by default, Alexa Echo is turned on. You can press the mic button on the remote to call "Alexa" or if you add the TV to your existing Echo home system, you can call out Alexa and the TV will respond (a colorful horizontal line lights up on the bottom of the screen).
