Great picture, great sound.
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I had my old tv a Panasonic 50" Plasma for 13 years so looking for a replacement was quite an eye opener. I chose this tv because it had the best picture and sound in my price range. The reason for 4 stars is the Alexa app., I have a Amazon echo next to my chair and every time I talked to my tv there was a conflict with my echo, so I turned the speaker off on my tv.

Refresh rate 60 Hz, not 120 Hz
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Impressive television: colors look good, fire TV integration to see exactly what we need with all the apps we use. However our only reason for buying this TV was 120 Hz refresh rate is listed is in the specifications. had we known it was not we would have gone with another television instead. Probably not Best Buy’s fault, television manufacturers make these specs very confusing and I’m sure Best Buy only put up the specs Toshiba gave them. This is disappointing still everything else on this TV seem to be top notch and Xbox series X sees to work really well with it

For the price almost perfect.
||Posted .Pro, 1. I got this on sale for 300 less than regular price so for a 55 inch modern Smart TV that pretty good. 2. The backlight is Full Array Local Dimming which happens to be the best at the moment fpr LED TVs, but OLED and QLED TVs are far better. 3. 4 HDMI ports and one of which is an eARC for better sound quality through modern receivers. 4. Has WIFI and Bluetooth. 5. Supports HDR, HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision for almost any kind of movie format available. 6. The built in speakers are pretty good if you don't have a receiver and have enhanced features that use DTS technology. 7. Support DTS-X and Dolby Atmos through the TV. 8. 120hz refresh rate for a smoother viewing experience. 9. Easy to put together, set up and fits well on my stand designed for a TGV that's no more than 48 inches. That's great not having to buy a new TV stand:). It's also wall mountable. 10. Lastly it's a Fire TV for those who like the Fire Stick and Amazon Alexa. Cons, 1. It has one USB, but the issue is it's only USB 2.0 which may not play back 4K movies very well. 2. It may have a 120hz display, but you can't display more than 60fps on a computer or a game console. Perhaps if enough of us bug Toshiba they'll give us an update that will allow that. 3. No Freesync supports if used with a computer again if we bug Toshiba maybe they'll give us an update. BTW, on a software level if the display is already HDMI 2.1 there's no excuse for Toshiba not to release a firmware update because it's been done on Samsung and TLC series 5(55 inch and up) TVs. For the price, picture quality and all the features it worth the price even at MSRP though I couldn't afford that in these hard times. Thankfully Best Buy offers sales sometimes on these things and I got lucky at the right time. I would have given this TV a 4.5 star rating if it had the option, but I didn't have the option and I'm not giving a product a 5 star rating if it has short comings in my use case

Satisfying audio and picture quality for the price
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. Here are my thoughts about this TV after a month of use. First of all Toshiba name is licensed by Hisense, so this TV is manufactured by Hisense under a different brand name. TV comes with Fire TV OS, and has built-in microphones for Alexa. One thing i didn’t like about this tv is that kid’s profile is not supported, which is also the case for the Fire cube, I don’t understand why Amazon disabled this feature. The menus are not very sluggish now, but from my experience I can say that it may slow down over time as you install apps and updates. Although the TV has Fire OS there is Apple Airplay support, so you can mirror your display from an Apple device. The FALD feature provides deep blacks areas but you will notice blooming around whites. Color and contrast is good. I didn’t have any problems watching the TV in a lit room. I think the screen handles reflection well. TV is bright, which let’s you to watch from angle too. I can confirm the panel is 120hz, but TV doesn't have HDMI 2.1 so it won't support 4K @ 120hz. I tested with an Xbox One S which allowed me to set the resolution to 1080p @ 120hz, but not to a higher resolution @ 120hz. I think if you are looking for a budget solution with some high end features like Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10+, this TV will satisfy you.

Q: QuestionDoes this TV have HDMI 2.1? Can I have 120hz with my PS5/
Asked by PS5snob555.
- A:Answer According to an online review by Digital Trends, "Unfortunately, the M-Series falls short of being a gamer’s best friend. While it offers auto low-latency mode (ALLM) which helps greatly with input lag, it doesn’t support any flavor of variable refresh rate (VRR) technology, which is becoming increasingly desirable for both console and PC gamers alike. Moreover, it’s not yet clear how gamers will be able to take advantage of the M-Series’ 120Hz capabilities — the TV has four HDMI 2.1 ports, but these only support 4K @ 60Hz. With that limitation, only gaming apps that can be added to the TV via the Fire TV app store will be able to avail themselves of the TV’s 120Hz panel."

Q: QuestionThe toshiba c350 can use a composite yellow, red and white input but apparently this superior model lacks that most useful input?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Apparently, that is correct. I also am a bit annoyed with the addition of more inputs at the cost of older ones, since it means you cannot use older equipment connectors out-of-the-box, should you desire, and there are reasons why you might want to. However, I would like to point out that there are adapters available, although at an additional cost.
