The tv may need to have the firmware updated. You can do it yourself. I am having the same issue with mine. My first Toshiba had to be replaced because it developed a HUGE white cloud on the screen and now this one turns off about 3-4 times a day. Frustrating the heck outta us. I want to return it but im out of my 15 days by 1 day and they would not make the exchange. You can update the firmware at the Toshiba support site listed on back of the remote. http://tvna.compal-toshiba.com/us/en/download/?series=529&model=561
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine locks up, it has also failed to turn off and failed to turn on. Additionally the TV will be on after being shut off. You can't turn it on right after you turn it off and its just not that good.
