“Ok so my tv is still defaulting the the google cast input! I did the channel search even attaching a digital antenna. We have the cable connected through a wireless device into the HDMI input. What is happening?”

It's a Google cast Tv so when it boots up it will connect to your internet. It does however remember the last input you have. You might want to go to the settings menu and under inputs, find the option for active inputs only. Mine defaults to the HDMI input since I'm using an AppleTv with it only. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I got mine figured out. I went to Toshiba's website, downloaded and installed updated firmware, now it stays on the last input instead of switching back to Googlecast when it's powered off.
