ANY USB hard drive is compatible with ANY Operating system. Short answer, yes. (Just plug it in and use it) Long answer, don't fall for a manufacturer marketing a hard drive compatibility to a specific OS Windows for the past 20+ years = NTFS or FAT (both work) I prefer and recommend NTFS, although FAT is universally acceptable between major OS's. Just search "how to format hard drive in windows 7" ...or whatever if you're ever curious .. just swap out operating system and version and you'll be unstoppable against the hard drive manufacturers. Takes a couple minutes generally.
