“Can this be used on Mac & PC without the software? I want to use this without the software and just manually transport files. If I do this will I be able to use it with a Mac and a PC?”

• It will certainly work for the Windows system without running software. As for Mac systems you may have to ensure a driver is installed but it still will operate without the additional software that comes with the drive. The software is primarily for backup software solution And is not mandatory to operate this drive.

• For PC it should work out of the box, for the mac you need to install the included Tuxera driver or reformat to mac.

• Yes it already has software installed on the product but it needs to install before you can use it. You can click and drag large quantities of files easily without hassle.
