• VHS has only 1 audio track, so when recording from DVD, ensure that the correct audio track is selected. It will play that audio track back through HDMI.

• I am currently using rca jacks. At the present I do not have a hdmi cable attached to my TV. I would assume it would work, but the quality of the vcr recorded picture will be poor compared to 1080p.
