• Most 11' laptops don't have room for the dvd drive. An external one can be use in the usb port and can be bought reasonably inexpensive on ebay. This will allow you to add programs from discs. Hope this helps.

• No CD or DVD player or writer but it does have 2 USB ports (one USB 2 & one USB 3) so you can add an external one for about $35.

• No but you can buy an external usb drive for it. I havent bought one yet but I plan on buying one to try out.
