- Answer An SD card is used to expand memory. It is not necessary to use this laptop.

QuestionSame KEYBOARD as Toshiba's Windows 8.1 C75DB7230???Since my previous question could have been clearer ... This Windows 10 Toshiba laptop has similar specs to the Window 8.1 Toshiba laptop, C75DB7230, which BestBuy no longer carries. Do the two laptops have the SAME keyboard? ------------------------------------------------------------- (Out of all the laptops I tried at BestBuy, the Windows 8.1 C75DB7230 had the best keyboard. If the C75DC7232 has the same keyboard, I could get it sight unseen.)

- Answer Thanks for your question, KeyboardPicky. The Satellite C75D-C7232 model has the same keyboard set up with 10 keypad. However, this laptop features a frameless TruType keyboard which is actually an upgrade over the Satellite C75D-B7230 model. The TruType keyboard features more space between the keys making it easier to type.

QuestionBasically the same as the Windows 8.1 C75DB7230?The specs for this Windows 10 machine (C75DC7232) are similar to the WIndows 8.1 C75DB7230. Are they basically the same machine? I'm particularly interested in the keyboard. I tried out the keyboards on the various display laptops at our local BestBuy and liked the Windows 8.1 C75DB7230 best. However, by the time I got the money together to purchase one several weeks later, I discovered that BestBuy had stopped carrying it, with even our local BestBuy removing the display model and the 3-4 boxed laptops that had been on the shelf below. And the Windows 10 model is not yet on display at two local BestBuys that I checked.

- Answer Make sure you get a Windows 10 machine with 10 preloaded. Lenovo is behind on drivers for things like the touch keyboard working with the 10 update. I returned mine.
