“Does the keyboard automatically disable when the laptop is opened all the way as a tablet? When opening all the way and using as a tablet are the keys on the keyboard disabled? I don't want to have the laptop sitting on my lap with the keyboard face down and the keys are being pressed.”

• Thanks for you question. Yes, when you flip the laptop from laptop mode to tablet mode the keyboard will be disabled automatically so you won't inadvertently press keys and enter information.

• Yes it does disable automatically, you also have the option to automatically switch to "tablet mode" which is the touchscreen with onscreen keyboard, or you can choose the option each time yourself. Either way, it does disable the keyboard automatically

• horrible laptop. slow and key fell off, toshiba says not under warranty, only 3 months old

• Yes. You can also choose whether when folding the keyboard it automatically goes between Tablet/PC Mode or if it should ask you about switching each time.
