    Great for travel

This laptop completely fulfilled my criteria for a small, lightweight, laptop to use while traveling. It fits easily into my backpack and isn't combersome when using it on trains or planes. Perfect! The touch screen is also responsive. What ISN'T responsive is the keyboard. It's necessary to type as if you are angry - really hitting the keys hard to get them to register. Something I am sure the traveler sitting next to me doesn't appreciate so much. It can be frustrating as I do constantly need to go back and fix all the missing letters and spaces in my sentences that didn't register while I was typing.

I just got this laptop yesterday but so fa so good. Price was very good for what you get. I love the touch screen feature, the only complaint is that th screen reflects light horribly because of the glass cover, but it works well indoors. Unit is lighweight and thin and easily flips over on itself to use as a tablet. It can be a little thick as a tablet, but overall it suits both needs well. The specs of this machine doesnt allow the use of large hd games but works well for small card games. I use it mostly for internet and netflix when i am out of town. I hooked it up to the hotel tv through the full size HDMI port last night and was pleasantly surprised how great the picture and sound was. I couldnt tell a difference between this pc or my PS4 for streaming capability. Overall i would recommend if you are just looking for an internet pc with ability for light game play.

I researched computers on line before I made this purchase. I wanted something that had these features but could not decide if I wanted a tablet, notebook or a laptop computer. I stopped in the store and the sales associate explained the many choices to me. I did not buy it that day. Instead I went home and did additional research. I went back to the store the following week and talked to a different sales associate. This computer had the features I wanted, the price was reasonable and the small size made it easy to carry with me. I realize there are many computers that have better ram, memory and more bells and whistles, but I did not want to play games or use it for business. This computer met my current needs.

My daughter is using this for over a month now ....A hybrid laptop-tablet device, lightweight, decent processing speed & more than adequate storage. Screen resolution is not really good, battery life is average. It comes with Windows10 OS which is more user friendly than Windows 8. Overall, not really impressive kind of laptop but given its price and performance, its worth it...

Touchscreen, fast mouse, beautiful screen. I don't use tablet mode often but it is perfect to use while playing games. Only problem I have with this laptop is that the battery is quick to die. But easy fix (just keep it plugged in!). I watch a lot of movies and Netflix on mine, which is fine, just make sure to power it down when you feel it starting to heat up. Other than that I use this laptop day by day and I love to use it!

Does exactly what I bought it for, meeting my expectations. Web, email, Office, streaming simple content. Touchscreen looks and works well, wish the keyboard and trackpad worked a bit better. A backlit keyboard would be nice, but hey, for this price, not a problem. You will be glad you have the larger storage this computer provides.

Purchased this for basic computer needs so I didn't need a high power, fast computer. The price was a major factor in the purchase. The multiple positions of the touch screen monitor is great and so far have no issues

I bought this little notebook/tablet to travel with. I was warned that the processor was pretty chintzy, so I knew that going in. It will run office just fine, and I even put CAD software on it which does fine in 2D. I did have it hang up regularly with too many apps running -- figured the 4G of RAM would be handling this. The flexibility thing is kind of a farce. It will fold all the way back and works well as a tablet, it is just a little unwieldy to hold and use that way. I still haven't tired using it as a "table tent" display for presentations on the fly. Anyway, this machine is just ok for the $400 price tag.

I've always loved Toshiba brand laptops and this one was an excellent value but for one thing. The keyboard is cheap and not responsive unless you hit the keys dead center. I've had lots of trouble with keys repeatedly not registering because I have been hitting them a little off-center.

When I first purchased this laptop, I had it three days and nothing worked. I was on the verge of returning it to the store but decided to try a manufacturer restore. This solved my problems, but then I had to reload all my programs and update all over again. Hours and hours of time lost with this procedure. Fortunately it is now working fine. The battery is the only real disappointment as it only lasts about 100 minutes with constant use. Oh well, it came with a plug. . .I love the tablet mode and the HDMI socket. I use it for work and travel and am happy. The price was a deciding factor as my original choice had sold out and there was no date for restocking. Overall, after the initial glitch, I am satisfied.

Did I say I LOVE this little machine? It's more than I expected, and fast as lightning, too. It came with Windows 10 preloaded, and I had no problems adjusting to it, and I'd be considered an "old Lady" - well, over 60 anyway. It came with PhotoDirector preloaded which I'm also learning to use; I edit tons of pics. Not as elegant as Photoshop, but suits my purposes just fine. Love the touch screen, and sometimes I use a wireless mouse when editing pics, which works well. The touchpad also functions well. There's also an on-screen touch keyboard as well as the normal one. The 11.6" size is so convenient to pack up & go. So far I'm happy with the battery life; it's as I expected. I carry the cord with me just in case anyway. Lots of apps, I deleted the ones I didn't want. Antivirus included & doesn't slow it down. Now my husband wants one!

Ok computer for $250. Some keys are simply not responsive when typing. Which is kind of a drag. Usually have to shut it down for it to reconnect to internet if computer is in sleep mode. Would not recommend as a primary computer. If you want something light with touch screen for basic utilitarian functions its passable. Otherwise, invest in a better machine.

Bought this for my daughter who has space constraints but needs a computer. Can be slipped into a drawer when not in use. Cuts down on her "smart phone" usage....she looks up sales etc. on it, saving her time, energy and money. Has enough memory to handle her needs. This is a great buy, and is now on sale for $249.99, regularly $399.00.

Nicely sized machine that is light weight. The only downfall is that the screen brightness is minimal and seems like too light for work even on full brightness other wise nice looks and great work productivity with decent speed

Great mid-level 2 in 1 laptop. I wanted something with at least 4 GB ram. The processor is better than the Atom/Celeron comparables in my opinion and the hard drive size is great. I bought this for my girlfriend and put 100 GB worth of movies on it for her. We both like the ability to use the touch pad and touch screen to navigate. This is the first computer using Windows 10 for both of us and it is much more intuitive than Windows 8. Perfect for internet browsing, watching video files, and word processing. Nice to have the Cortana feature in the OS as well.

I have the best luck with Toshiba laptops so I decided to try the notebook/laptop model. I like the size but the keyboard has been hard to get used to. The keys aren't as responsive as they were on my older Satellite notebook. It is sometimes very frustrating when I'm typing along and realize that some letters are missing from my writing. Everything else with the computer is fine.
