I know this is an old question, but I’m answering for anyone who happens past it. Yes, you can add an m.2 but it has to be the longer m.2 2280 cards. There are no mounting holes for the shorter cards. Also, you can’t have an m.2 and a regular HDD/SSD because the connect for them is (stupidly) in the space of the m.2 card. I do think you can trim the rubber vibration isolator of the HDD/SSD that Toshiba puts in, and that may give you clearance, but I can’t tell you if everything will operate correctly. It should, but Toshiba could have done that for a reason.
