I'm not computer savvy, but I found this laptop to be nice, easy to use for a great price. It's also great for a college students because of its light weight.

Has good battery time, can easily increase size of type, took a little time to get the hang of the mouse pad, but I like it now that I am acquainted. I have not used all the windows 10 features, but I like them

My work requires ram consuming programs and this laptop juggles them like it's nothing. Revit, sketchup, autocad, word, all running at the same time with no glitch. The only warning I have is that due to the 4k display, (which look awesome for movies and games) no programs made before 2016 will be displayed right, the letters will be minimal to the point you can barely see them. So investing in this laptop means investing in software as well. When viewing full size videos in browsers, sometimes it looks weird due to outdated plugins which still don't have updates for 4k screens.

Just purchased, this item is a BestBuy only item (Not listed on Toshiba's website) and online reviews are limited. The model # on BB's website is: P55W-C5316-4K and on the box states: PSPVTU-008001 and the box is correct verified on Toshiba's Warranty Information page by entering the serial # and model #. However, once you verify the information the Model Name is: SATELLITE P50W-C. This is just a little confusing and needs some clarification. BB also has listed in the specifications that this laptop has an Ethernet port, that is incorrect... It does not have an Ethernet port. I was able to successfully replace the 1TB HDD to a SSD by removing all the screws on the bottom and using a guitar pic all around the edge to loosen/pop the cover off (there is nothing attached to the cover). Will update again with detail review of this laptop, so far so good.

Purchased the Toshiba satellite radius laptop when there was an offer going on for $549, when the regular price was $999. Great product for the regular price, but the limited time offer made the deal even sweeter. i7 Processor, 12 GB RAM, 1 TB hard disk, 4K screen, 2 in 1 mode, Windows 10.. all i could ever ask for in my laptop.

I dont usually leave reviews but, I felt it was important i did. I was hesitant to purchase this laptop due to the negative reviews. I was drawn to this laptop for many reason and i just wanted memory and a great processor. The touch screen and Bluetooth was icing on the cake. I did however purchase the 2 year insurance with geek squad for an extra $210. This is my second day using it and all seems to be working great and no glitches. However, will update if it starts acting up. I absolutely love this laptop and see it as a great investment.

Fast, but, the only downside was that it crashed at least once a week( screen goes black for about 1 second and then it informs you that it has fixed the problem) for about 1 month about after I purchased. 2 Months later it doesn't do that any more after an update. Windows 10 makes everything a breeze and I use this laptop for college. Intel i7 core response is quick and if I am late to class I can open it up and it will be up and running in less than 5 seconds. Worth the money and I am going to be forever faithful to Toshiba. This is my second product and their durability is amazing. I was in a car accident a few years ago and my previous Laptop a Satellite Radius was flung from the car, only had a few cosmetic flaws but still worked flawlessly. Totally recommend and never going back to any other brand.

This Toshiba is remarkable. The intel core really makes processes very quick. The backlit keyboard is very helpful. The versatility is remarkable. I love the way it can be used as a tablet or tabletop. I really enjoy the touchscreen, feels like my Apple mini. Still learning all the things it can do.

Watch out and play close attention to the configuration. .... you want 6th generation i7 not 5th. Try for 12G Ram min & 500 SSD HD.

When I first bought this machine, it had problems with the wifi right out of the box. I was unable to get things working and it continually dropped internet connections after running for a few minutes or whenever email downloaded. I finally got one of the JustAnswers techs to look at the machine remotely and after an hour or so of him flashing the bios, updating the wifi drivers and fine tuning the machine, it has no wifi problems and is very fast!

The computer is slow to start up. Wish it came with a word processing program. The screen resolution is nice and the backlit keyboard is useful.i like the touchscreen and the fact that you can use it as a tablet. The price we paid was exceptional.

I was not sure about it at first; I'm a mac person. But, I have come to really like this laptop. The notebook function is great. It's fast. It's sort of user friendly, but it is probably more user friendly if you're already pc literate. I wish the battery had a longer life, but the Ultra 4K sucks up a lot of power from what I understand. And it's much thinner than other laptops of the same size, which was a huge selling point for me. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

Excellent screen. Good ergonomics. Could use an Ethernet port. Performed up to my expectations for a month. The problems I did have I attribute to Windows 10, not the machine. Something crashed after a month and the Geek Squad determined it was an unspecified hardware failure. It would not boot an OS after multiple attempts. Waiting for the replacement now. Even with the failure, I would still recommend it.

Awesome screen, really fast, tons of memory and its a giant tablet as well. The touchscreen is accurate and a nice feature. I love that it has the numeric pad. The list goes on and on but you cant get a better product for the price, its well worth 2-3 times as much!

A few things that need attention

Good overall performance and specifications. Took a very long time to figure out why the keyboard would stop working all the sudden, turns out there is a button my cats had pressed to turn off my keyboard, so pay attention to that. Other issue the key pad sometimes is unresponsive. This is not all the time and when it happens I just use my finger on the touch screen, and then the keypad would start to respond again. Not sure why. I also dislike that when you enlarge / zoom into your internet screen, you can no longer use the scrolls on the right hand side of the internet screen with your keypad any longer - you are forced to use your fingers on the touchscreen to scroll, unless of course you zoom out again. Finally, I am not sure if these is an internet thing or a laptop thing, so I hope someone can help me out here. Sometimes the playing of videos from websites like Comedy Central or CBS are really poor and the videos keep pausing. Youtube, Netflix, Hulu, however seem to work well, usually. Overall anything else about this laptop has been great. I perceive that the battery lasts shorter than when I first bought it. I kind of knew such things happen but I now realize that the battery cannot be replaced , so that's very bad design / engineering on the part of Toshiba. I don't like companies who design products that your forced to replace with no chance of repairs. Otherwise good laptop. Great memory.
