- Answer The fan sound is almost nonexistent. With an SSD hard drive, the fan shuts off the majority of the time. VERY QUIET... It is light. Can't remember the exact weight, but more than an iPad.. yet Less than a normal laptop. This model is VERY thin.. so a lot of the weight is gone. This computer ROCKS!! and is VERY FAST...

QuestionI recently bought this laptop and loved it until I logged in to vmware, the vm screen was so tiny. When i changed the resolution to a lower one on display setting, the desktop looked lousy. do you have a fix for that?

Questiontyping while in tablet modeOne of the reviewers commented there is no way to enter data from tablet mode, even from the screen. Use case I'm thinking of is searching for a title on Netflix while in tablet mode. Would not like to have to switch back to the keyboard to type in this situation. Or displaying a powerpoint in tablet mode and wanting to make edits to the text. Thanks for your help!

QuestionIs it possible to upgrade the battery to perhaps a 6-cell or greater? Do you make a similar model with a longer battery life?It was stated that this laptop has a "battery rating of up to five hours and 40 mins," but I suspect that estimate decreases if I'm using multiple browser windows & software applications. Is it possible to upgrade the battery to perhaps a 6-cell or greater? If not, do you make a similar model with a longer battery life?

- Answer No; everything is "built-in" and therefore isn't able to be changed. The amount of heat produced shouldn't create the usual problems associated with the previous batteries or Hard-Drives. The length of charge with the built-in battery hasn't caused me any trouble to date.
