Thanks for your question, Guest. No, the Satellite Radius 15 laptops do not support a solid state drive along with the hard drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I added a hybrid/SSD 1tb drive without any problems. The only issues while installing it, after removing 2 screws each from under the back feet. The hard drive is only attached to a thin rubber bumper guard and a thin ribbon cable. I had to work a bit to get the new drive back in the slot. Remember to make restoration disks first, or use some kind of cloning software to get the operating system on the new drive. but works like a champ afterwards.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only one or the other. There is no room for a secondary drive in the laptop. Some laptops have optical drives which can be replaced with a second hard drive/SSD but this laptop does not. Good luck
