“Can the Power Line Network Adapters be used on battery backups? As in local battery packs per outlet, whole house battery packs, whole house generators (petro and/or natural gas) without causing interruptions in service as a whole or at all? Solar?”

Powerline adapter should be plugged directly into wall outlets. Devices such as power strips and surge protectors will directly interfere with the Powerline connection.
