• Both will work. More speed is possible only if you can get wired connection from the switch and True speed depends on the internet plan.

• Hi! That would honestly depend on your network topology and intended use for the product. If you primarily plan to use the switch to provide additional Ethernet ports for your network, you can connect it to any LAN port downstream of your router. If your Wi-Fi source is separate from your router, then you would want to connect in this order: Modem → Router → Switch → Wi-Fi Access Point & PC.
