WiFi extension is dependent upon your existing WiFi coverage, as well as your physical environment. As long as the extender is installed in an area where it can pick up a clear signal from your router, but is also close enough to your shop, it may be able to reach. However, please note that building materials and physical obstructions will play a role in total signal distance.
