“Hi can this be used to replace a bec 4g boardband wireless router? The one I have does not connect to and ethernet port and doesn't have a modem but is super slow so I want to replace it with something fast is this an option for me?”

No, this router is not designed for 4G/LTE Internet source connectivity; it must be connected to the Internet source via Ethernet cable (i.e. connected to a modem). Regards, TP-Link Support
