The router has been great for me so far. Best part for me is more ports, 8, than other AX11000 routers. The area covered by the TP-Link AX11000 is greater than my previous router, a Netgear R8500. I was able to drop using an extender, the AX11000 covers everything I need. I was able to connect AX to an AX laptop. Wired speed is the same as any other wired device, you get it all. The interface is nice, and easy to navigate. Lots of options to setup as you need. Overall it's been a good buy. I got it on sale and look for price comparisons too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this router and it’s been GREAT! I was using Spectrum Ultra 400 MBPS but upgraded to 1 gig service. They sent me a new modem & Router which I tried. I had it in the far room one side of house and their router wifi would not reach the back room. I switched it to the archer AX11000 and it was no problem at all. Thus is one of the best routers I’ve owned! Hope this helps you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need a Wifi 6 adapter for your PC and other devices like your cellphone need to be WIFI 6 ready. There are only a few adapters available for PC right now. The best two are made by ASUS and TP-Link. They both look slightly different, but the internals are exactly the same since they both carry the intel wifi 6 chip inside. If you don't have a WIFI 6 client you will not see any improvements on wireless speed. Wired speed you will not see any change regardless.
