• Hi! Yes, as long as you already have a separate modem, you can connect it to the router via Ethernet cable.

• yes, you connect directly to the router. remember you have to probably UPDATE it first for it to recognize the modem. PC connection needed and/or you make all the configuration without the internet (connection with the modem) and update thought the app on your phone.
