Hi KnightRider, Effective extended Wi-Fi range depends on various factors, including the location of your router, placement of the extender, distance from the extender to the target location, walls, obstructions, and construction materials of the building(s), and which Wi-Fi band(s) you're connecting to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz). If your garage is close to your home, and your router's Wi-Fi signal reaches the end of your home that is nearest to the garage, optimally placing the extender may help improve Wi-Fi connectivity at the garage location. However, if the garage is far from the home, an alternative, outdoor Wi-Fi solution - such as our Deco Outdoor products, may be worth considering.
