Hi Steve, That depends on the authentication method used by the public Wi-Fi network. If it uses a traditional Wi-Fi name and password, the extender can be set up as usual using the Wi-Fi name and password of the network. However, if the network uses a Captive Portal Authentication system, the public network may have restrictions in place that could require additional setup steps or prevent connectivity.
