Yes, the primary Deco unit must be connected to your existing network via Ethernet. The other Deco units can be connected to your primary Deco via Mesh WiFi or via Ethernet backhaul, depending on your preference. You can also choose to run the Deco in Router Mode or Access Point Mode, depending on your networking needs.
