• Absolutely, you can set up one, or both of the Deco M9 units in Access Point Mode to your existing routed network, as shown in our FAQ here: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1842/ Regards, TP-Link Support

• This is NOT a wireless network extender. It is designed to work with other models in the same line to provide mesh capability and will not generically work with any wifi system. If you did add one of these devices to an existing network with different hardware you would end up with two separate networks and have to manage switching between them when appropriate.
