Hi! Yes, as long as your router and modem are separate devices (as opposed to an all-in-one modem/router gateway), you can replace your existing router using this Deco Mesh system. However, if you have an all-in-one modem/router gateway, you will need to procure a standalone cable modem to use in conjunction with the Deco if you wish to stop using, or replace your Spectrum provided gateway.

Please try again later.Yes, you can put the provided modem from Spectrum into AP-Bridge mode turning it into just a modem and connect one of the Deco's to the Spectrum modem and the other 2 will connect through the app. I will say if you live in an apartment, this is no current way of changing the wifi channel as of right not, this is the only down side of this system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you should be able to. Just connect one of the decos to the spectrum modem and then put the other 2 decos throughout the house. I have one downstairs and the other 2 upstairs which I hardwired for best performance.
