“Can I select which band that I want my device to connect to or is it automatically assigned? I have some dual band devices that I want a specific band to connect to. Orbi routers automatically assign and do not give an option.”

go to the app, tap on the deco unit that has your phone. If your phone is set at the 2.4gbps, you can change to 5gpbs Tap on the phone you want to change, and go to connection preference scroll to the bottom and you can click auto, 2.4ghs, or 5ghz.
