• A:Answer No. At least one unit needs to be physically connected to a Source device. Whether that be a router or a modem, it just needs to be a device connected to the ISP service

Q: QuestionI'm setting up Wi-Fi access for a 12,000 sqft building. Will two of these systems work for that purpose? I would like to have the same Network name for the entire building.

Q: QuestionI have an older Deco mesh system. Should I use this to replace it completely or can I still use the older mesh to extend the range of this one even further?

• A:Answer Hi, Deco Mesh Whole Home Wi-Fi Systems are designed to provide seamless, omnidirectional coverage for your home - and in the case of the Deco XM73, your yard(s) as well. Deco Mesh systems are not explicitly designed for line-of-sight or point-to-point configurations, so their coverage is not generally measured or tested for such scenarios. The Deco XM73 is designed to provide Wi-Fi coverage up to 7,100 sq ft indoors, and up to 2,900 sq ft outdoors.
