- Answer Hi Wen, Our Deco Mesh Wi-Fi Systems support operation in Router Mode (which replaces your existing router) or Access Point Mode. In both modes, the main Deco needs to be connected to your existing Internet source (modem, router, ONT, etc.) via Ethernet cable.

- Answer Hi toddg19, You will need an existing Internet provider and connection in the home. The main Deco node needs to be connected to your Internet source (e.g., modem, ONT, gateway) using an Ethernet cable. The remaining Deco nodes can be connected either via Wi-Fi Mesh or Ethernet, depending on your needs.

- Answer Hi Hotwire, As long as your ONT supports Ethernet connectivity, you should be able to connect the main Deco node directly to the ONT via Ethernet and use our intuitive Deco app to set up and enjoy Seamless Mesh Wi-Fi 6E connectivity throughout your home. If your Internet provider has proprietary provisioning steps when changing routers, giving them a quick call during setup may help as well.

- Answer The pulsing GREEN light means the mesh device is upgrading firmware. Depending on your internet connection this should only take a few minutes. If it continues to pulse for an extended amount of time, unplug it- move it closer to the main router (if using wireless connection for your mesh system) and plug back in. Let it complete the firmware upgrade and then move it back to the desired place.

- Answer Just like using an internet modem (cable or other). Plug Ethernet line from starlink controller to X75 main router (the one you are going to use as main.)

- Answer All depends on placement of one of the mesh devices. To get a possible good signal to you garage, place the mesh device along the wall closest to the garage (inside of course). You can also add another mesh device in your garage to boost the signal from the connection to the one inside.
