- Answer The camera will "hear and see" what is within its field of view and microphone detection range - which will vary depending on where you place the camera, and how you configure its motion/sound detection and sensitivity settings via the Kasa app.

Question1. Can the video clips be transferred and saved to a computer via the SD card? 2. Can you save video clips directly into your smartphone's storage ? 3. I tried inserting it into my Mac and it said the device isn't recognized.

- Answer I have taken files off my SD card via a windows PC, i haven't tried using my Mac yet. On these units with an SD card, i have not found a way to save to my device, however, the cloud based versions of these cameras will allow this.

QuestionCan the audio coming out of the camera be shut off? I don't want my roommate knowing there is a camera in the room.

- Answer The camera will not emit audio unless you manually use the push-to-talk function within the Kasa app to engage its 2-way audio controls. If you do not use this feature, the camera will not emit sound.

QuestionSometimes when playing the video clips, they just keep trying to load and hang. It also says there are no recordings yet when there are recordings. I've tried clearing the cache and restarting the cameras. What is causing this? Thank you.
