A:AnswerHi! The HS200 can control the power state (On/Off) of one single pole circuit. If your fan has multiple control functions, it may require a special switch (or in many modern fan designs, it may come with a remote control). The HS200 cannot replace these multi-function switch types.
A:AnswerThis replaces a standard wall switch. It will control everything on that circuit, lights, fans or outlets, either through the app or by the switch itself.
A:AnswerA switch is always powered, that is the only way it can function. So yes it stays powered and connected regardless of the switch position. Be sure to flip the breaker to the circuit before installing unless your curious what 110v feels like.
