• One should be enough. My device is about 40 feet from the router and it carries the signal through another 50 feet both up and down stairs.

• Hi! That would depend on various factors including: 1. The square footage of your home. 2. Where your router is currently located. 3. Where you need to extend the Wi-Fi within your home.
