• I always call on our landline phone to add minutes on my cell phone. You must have your cell phone turned on at the time. TracFone will send you a text saying how many minutes, text messages, and google bites are left on your phone. You can ask text support the question if you are being charged when talking with them. I would guess no since they don't subtract for text messages.
