“Is it possible to set this phone to notify me audibly more than ONCE when I get a text message? My current phone lets me set the frequency of how many times it notifies me that I have a text waiting, so if I am not by my phone I have it set to sounds off every 2 minutes, so I don't miss messages.”

Good morning, Cardinals. Yes. You would be able to do it by setting a special ringtone as notification. In addition, you may download a "Ringtone app" from Google Play.
