If the SIM card is the problem, you can buy a new one from Best Buy and just switch out your cards. Then you will need to call TracFone to assign your old phone number to your new SIM card. They will need the # from the new SIM card, which you can find near the actual SIM card. You will need a SIM card picker to open the compartment on your phone. If you're lucky, a Best Buy associate will either switch the card out for you or lend you a SIM picker to use. I was not so lucky and had to come back in and a Samsung salesman helped me out.
