The classic flip phone firmware is different from the I-phone/smart phone. The SIM card pack will only function on an I-phone / smart phone. Check to see that the flip phone is unlocked, that is, the phone can be used on any carrier. Tracfone prepaid service is recommended only for users who use low usage of data and text messages and when limits are reached service will cease even in the middle of an important phone call or text message.
