I used it on iPhone 6 and also recently on iPhone XS and it works without problem. You have to call TracFone to help you through though.

If straight talk (ST) phone is not yet activated on ST, you could try entering the IMEI number of the phone on the tracfone website (select Activate on the main website menu) and see if it likes it... Another thing to be aware is whether its a GSM, CDMA or CDMA/GSM phone. I got a used unlocked iphone (CDMA/GSM) and the tracfone Verizion (CDMA) sim to transfer from my LG tracfone to the iphone.
