• TracFone includes Basic International calling with all their plans, which allows you to call hundreds of international destinations at the same cost as a local call within the US. But if you want to USE the phone internationally (i.e., when you are in the other country): 1. You would have to unlock it first. Then, 2. You would have to find someone who sells an international prepaid plan compatible with the phone and use in specific countries.

• yes but you must unlock the phone you have to wait 60 days before you can do it. So plan according if your going out of the country in less that the 60 days required to unlock it.
