The start-up card has details. You either go online (set up a TracFone account, then "add airtime" using the card code)or you can do it by phone using another phone. You'll need all the details found on the red start-up card (phone serial number, SIM card number, airtime card number,). Have a pen handy. TracFone customer service is very helpful if you have problems.
