I've had the same issue. I've seen the same problem at Target, same product identification is used for multiple transformers. I believe the blame lies on Hasbro for setting up the product codes this way. You can place an online order for pickup, call the store to speak with a representative and tell them you want Optimus Prime. This was how I was able to get one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Be aware of these Styles may vary items. I got completely different item which I can got way lower price in amazon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are not many stores left that have this for store pickup, but if you see that they do I would NOT advise you to place an online order BEFORE calling the store first to see if they have the style you're looking for. Otherwise, you'll have a charge placed on hold to your credit card that you'll have to later wait to drop off if you end up canceling the order. I would call first to ask if they have Optimus Prime and if they do then make the request that when you place the online order for store pickup that they please pick that particular transformer and not another style of transformer. For the shipping option I don't think there's anything that you can do to secure an Optimus, you'll just have to take the risk. =/
