• You won't need it in the Phillipines, most outlets there are standard American 2 prong style. But it will work there if you have a 3 prong cord.

• The Philippines use plug types A and B usually, which this adapter does adapt to. Keep in mind this adapter is only to be used if your devices are capable of accepting the outlets power. If the outlet provides more power than your device can handle, this adapter will not work.
