• I was advised not to have more than 1 security device on your computer at one time. They can work against each other. I know, I had this problem and removed all but TrendMicro. No problems after I removed the other program.

• Yes I would uninstall program, and then install the software using your product key!

• Ive always been told to uninstall existing antivirus software so it doesnt conflict. I do it that way and never had a problem.

• If you have another security program installed on your computer, it is best to uninstall them prior to installing your Trend Micro security software.
